Title: Deer Season is getting So Close!!!!

Is anyone getting excited about the approaching hunting season? Some people talk about the signs that nature gives us to tell that the seasons are changing. Most people look for the leaves to change or for the flowers to start to bloom. Me on the other hand, I can tell that the fall is quickly approaching in many other ways. First the Hunting Shows and Extraveganzas begin. Then Bass Pro and Academy start to run those famous Hunting Ads. Then I start to see game camera pics of everyones' bucks... At this point I go into full rut mode and have a weird desire to wear camo under my work clothes. Maybe I am nuts or addicted to hunting....but I guess there are many worst things to be addicted to than these great outdoors that we all love!!! I hope each of you are as pumped up as I am for the upcoming season. The rains of 2007 will make it one of the top B&C years on record for Texas. Go Get 'em and Good Luck to all!!!

I only hope that me and my family can kill half of the animals that you have taken. What is your next animal to go after? Keep up the bow hunting...it makes everything more exciting!! About the camo under my work clothes...I have to come clean...many days I hunt while at work...Shhhh don't tell my boss...For some reason it always seems that those cold fronts hit on a Tuesday!! Thank goodness that my work cell phone works at the lease...I make many a sales call from the hunting woods. It's always funny when my customers ask , "Why are you wispering?" I just tell them that I am giving them a special price and I don't want anyone else to know..That always makes them laugh Talk to you later

Camo under the work clothes - that is GREAT! I love your story, and I must agree that deer fever is in the air! The rain should definitely make this a great year to hunt in Texas! Good luck to you and your family! May God bless all of your hunts and adventures this year!
